Some of my work

If you like the patterns, click on their name and the link will take you there!
SLEEVELESS V-NECK PULLOVER: I knitted it for myself. The rib part I knitted it with a circular needle in order to avoid sewing. It is very fresh. I loved to wear it during the hot summer in Argentina.

The Road Scarf: This was a birthday present for my mom. It has a story: I bought the yan in a yarn shop in Seward, Alaska. It was knitted while sailing around Alaska water, to be used in the other side of the world. as my parents live in the Southern Hemisphere, Buenos Aires.
My so called scarf: This was a tricky one to knit, not because it was difficult (actually it is a simle pattern that looks amazing) but I knitted with one strand of cotton adn one strand of silk, puer silk. So every time I have to pass over a stitch i suffered not to damage the silk! It looks amazing around my neck!

Not a knitting project but one that I love!

Wow, Xmas is almost here, sorry I haven't been writing but I have been really busy. I am in the kid of person that enjoys doing personal presents, even though it takes a long time. SO as you see I have been busy doing this wood chair for my nephew. Santiago is four. Decorating was time consuming but very easy.
During one of my trip I bought  this kid pirate napkin in Rhodes, Greece. I  simply diluted professional glue and glued them to the wooden chair. I let it dry for 2 complete days and then a coat of varnish in spray.  I hope he enjoys his chair as much I I did doing it!

My mom's B-day present

It was my mom's birthday and I have been travelling with my other half and had nothing really ready for her. She loves to get hand made things, specially for the thought and the time invested on the gift. So here I am with less than 1 1/2 days to go and I started looking for something. I made this Bath Gift Basket in a day.

The Bath mitt is a free pattern I got it from Bernat website.
The washcloth is extremely easy:
Start casting 4 stitches.
Row 1 knit across
All other rows: k2, yo, knit to end.
Repite until desired width
Star decrease rows. All rows: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end
repite until you have 4 stitches. Bind off!
The sponge has a square of garter stitch knitted with 8mm needles, creating a web. The soap bag p is the same.
Hope you find it useful!

Working on my first...

...yes I am working on my first knitting desing. I have been knitting for a while and lately I started to make changes on the patterns I have been knitting (some extra fitting, etc). But I am working on my first design. It is simple, but it would be something I have created. which makes me very proud... so soon.. I will post it and have it available for everybody.

Have a great weekend...
