I hope you had a good weekend. I spent most of mine working so no new items to show for! But during the week I made myself a little time to finish this.

My latest creation: baði motta is a round bath mat knitted in crochet with fabric yarn with a 16 mm hook. It is ideal for the bathroom as it absorbs liquids and dries fast. It was quite hard to get use to such a big hook but after trying some time, my hand got used to it and I knitted it in no time.

My adorable Siamese cat "Anónima" loves it already!!! You can see her napping here!!!

I hope you like this one.

Mosaiqüe: It´s a 100% cotton bolero I knitted in crochet. The idea was given to me by Sofia, my sister in law. I have tried many yarns and crochet hooks... This is my favourite! What do you think?

All the items I post in these pages are for sales so if you are interested... just let me know!!!

My sister got a new camera and discovered that she enjoys photography and editing. These are some of the things she came up with. Quite funky eh???

Love the contrast!
I personally think she has a lot of talent there... here are some others.. Enjoy!

This is my favourite!

Some of my work

If you like the patterns, click on their name and the link will take you there!
SLEEVELESS V-NECK PULLOVER: I knitted it for myself. The rib part I knitted it with a circular needle in order to avoid sewing. It is very fresh. I loved to wear it during the hot summer in Argentina.

The Road Scarf: This was a birthday present for my mom. It has a story: I bought the yan in a yarn shop in Seward, Alaska. It was knitted while sailing around Alaska water, to be used in the other side of the world. as my parents live in the Southern Hemisphere, Buenos Aires.
My so called scarf: This was a tricky one to knit, not because it was difficult (actually it is a simle pattern that looks amazing) but I knitted with one strand of cotton adn one strand of silk, puer silk. So every time I have to pass over a stitch i suffered not to damage the silk! It looks amazing around my neck!

Not a knitting project but one that I love!

Wow, Xmas is almost here, sorry I haven't been writing but I have been really busy. I am in the kid of person that enjoys doing personal presents, even though it takes a long time. SO as you see I have been busy doing this wood chair for my nephew. Santiago is four. Decorating was time consuming but very easy.
During one of my trip I bought  this kid pirate napkin in Rhodes, Greece. I  simply diluted professional glue and glued them to the wooden chair. I let it dry for 2 complete days and then a coat of varnish in spray.  I hope he enjoys his chair as much I I did doing it!
